Bonneville to Relocate & Consolidate
Bonneville International Corporation will be consolidating and relocating the administration, sales and production facilities of KOIT, KDFC and KZBR to Convention Plaza. They have signed a ten year lease for the 27,400 square foot top floor at 201 Third Street. They will relocate in the 2nd Quarter 2005, consolidating present operations at 455 Market and 400 Second Streets.
Mike Tobin of Pacific Union Commercial Brokerage who represents Bonneville, states that, Convention Plaza offers an ideal location including "clear line of sight" to its transmitters at Mt. San Bruno and adjacent, abundant and reasonably priced parking. Tobin also notes that Bonneville was able to reduce its space requirement 15+ % in addition to negotiating a very aggressive economic deal.
The Salt Lake City based firm is a dynamic media company with television, radio, satellite, and advertising properties in multiple markets including Washington, D.C., Chicago, St. Louis, Phoenix and San Francisco. Bonneville owns and operates 37 stations nationally. The company also is nationally recognized for its long-standing commitment to community service.
