KNBR & KFOG, Renew & Extend…

Susquehanna Radio Corp. has renegotiated its current lease and extended it for an additional seven years. Mike Tobin of Pacific Union Commercial Brokerage, who represented Susquehanna, said the York, Pennsylvania based national radio group saved more than $2,000,000 in doing so. In addition, Tobin was able to negotiate a long term lease on terms consistent with today's tenant friendly San Francisco office market. Landlord concessions included a generous tenant improvement allowance, free parking, and the installation of new elevators.

Susquehanna, which occupies 34,000 square feet on the top two floors at 55 Hawthorne, owns and/or operates 33 AM and FM stations nationwide, making it the 11th largest radio group in the country. Its San Francisco Bay Area stations are KNBR-680 & 1050 AM, KFOG 104.5 & 97.7 FM and KSAN 107.7 FM. KNBR, The Sports Leader, is the home of the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors. The all sports station, and its sister station KFOG, have consistently ranked in the top five stations in the Bay Area for over twenty years.
